Location: Middletown, NY
Project: I was contacted by the homeowners to finish off their basement which was framed out. I installed 5/8" sheetrock on all walls and ceiling and taped and finished the sheetrock in this 600 sq ft basement in Middletown, NY. The job was about 35 sheets of drywall and some extreme angles due to custom shelves in corner of room. All joints were taped with mesh tape and all inside corners were taped. The corner edges we used sheetrock metal tape edge. We used easy sand 90 minute joint compound and pre-mixed joint compound to put three coats on all surfaces and final sanding or super smooth surface ready for prime and paint.
